An extension of a previous post about taking rest days for mental health here are some self-care activities to try when you are taking the much needed time to yourself to recover.

πŸ₯° Have a spring clean or decluttering session.

πŸ₯° Meditate in a quiet place.

πŸ₯° Light a candle or some nice smelling essential oils or incense sticks.

πŸ₯° Take a long warm bath, watch some TV in the bath and really enjoy your time in the warm.

πŸ₯° Read an interesting book or magazine.

πŸ₯° Update yourself on the news around the world and in your country.

πŸ₯° Find a new series or film you want to watch.

πŸ₯° Watch your favourite film/series.

πŸ₯° Write 10 things your grateful for.

πŸ₯° Indulge in your favourite food.

πŸ₯° Watch an interesting documentary.

πŸ₯° Do something or watch something that makes you laugh.

πŸ₯° Watch the sunrise/sunset.

πŸ₯° Get up early, make yourself a decent breakfast and enjoy the morning.

πŸ₯° Go on a technology retreat and avoid all technology.

πŸ₯° Take a nap.

πŸ₯° Do something creative.

πŸ₯° Spend time with a friend or family member.

πŸ₯° Play your favourite game/ play a game with others.
